Counselling is a talking therapy that can help relieve mental distress. It may be that a specific event or trauma has triggered difficult feelings or it could be that an underlying issue, that has persisted for some time, is becoming burdensome.
I offer a safe and confidential environment where we can explore difficult feelings together and look at past and present experiences, behaviours and ways of relating in order to identify what is causing you problems at this time. This will enable increased self awareness and with this comes the ability to challenge unwanted behaviours and make positive changes to improve your mental and emotional well being.
